Sister Wives Season 19: Kody Brown Faces Major Family Fallout
The Brown family is in turmoil as Season 19 of Sister Wives brings more upheaval than ever before.
The newly released trailer for the upcoming season shows the family grappling with significant changes. Meri Brown, who has been with Kody Brown for nearly three decades, officially ends their marriage, marking the dissolution of yet another one of Kody’s relationships. Meanwhile, Christine Brown introduces her new husband, David Woolley, to the world, moving on from Kody with a fresh start.
Janelle Brown is also at a crossroads, trying to sever ties with Kody by selling their jointly owned property. However, she’s met with resistance from Kody, leading her to consider legal action. Frustrated by the lack of communication, Janelle confides in Christine, expressing her readiness to “lawyer up” if necessary.
Robyn Brown, who remains Kody’s only wife, is struggling with the new reality of their now monogamous relationship. “I feel like the idiot who got left behind,” Robyn admits, reflecting her sense of isolation as she watches the family she once knew fall apart.
Kody, overwhelmed by the unraveling of his plural marriages, is shown questioning his own actions, asking, “What did I do to deserve this? What did I do wrong?” His attempts to reconcile with Janelle fall flat as she firmly tells him, “It’s done, we’re done. We’re not compatible,” indicating that there’s no going back for her.
Despite the deep fractures, the family does come together at one point to celebrate Christine’s new relationship, where she introduces David to everyone. Meri, inspired by Christine’s happiness, declares her own intention to move forward, stating, “I need to find a man.”
The upcoming season also promises to address the family’s grief as they mourn the loss of Kody and Janelle’s son, Garrison, who tragically passed away at 25. This heartbreaking event adds another layer of complexity to the Brown family’s story as they navigate their new lives apart from one another.
